While Fusion is still in Beta there has been a lot of talk about how it will give Parallels Desktop a run for its money. Not only is it cheap, ($40 pre-order) it will allow you to run multiple operating systems like OSX, Windows and Linux on a MAC simultaneously. Oh and it’s supposedly faster than Parallels.

This weekend, the power supply failed on my G5. This has happened to my PCs several times, so I take it in stride. Just make a quick stop at the electronics store, buy a new power supply and get up and running in short order. It turns out that this doesn’t apply to Macs.

This is a few days old, but worth checking out if you haven’t already seen it. From a marketing standpoint it’s interesting that, for $.30 extra, the DRM-free songs will be encoded at 256 kbps, double the standard 128 kbps of all current iTunes songs. I just love watching the Apple marketing folks work their magic. What a hook!
