Days of the Week.com

We are Tuesday, but much like the famous dwarves, we have six roommates. So whom exactly do we share the week with?
tuesday.com
That’s us! The best weekday website of them all!
wednesday.com
Poor Wednesday. It’s just a parking page, the lowest form of website. Won’t someone make this day’s … uh … day, and put some content on Wednesday.com?
thursday.com
In my humble opinion this is the only other site that actually looks designed. However the first thing the site says is that they’re not the band called “Thursday.” Other than that, well, it’s a straightforward clean XHTML and CSS site about straightforward clean XHTML and CSS. It’s like one page from someone’s portfolio, really, just one page. A seventh of the week for that.
friday.com
All right! The weekend! What kind of exciting content will we find here? Friday is “devoted to bringing families and
communities closer together through the use of network based communication technologies.” Okay, lots of buzzwords. At least it sounds impressive. So what does it do, exactly? Well, there are some ads from Amazon and Google. There’s a Google search button. There’s a big image in the middle of the page that links to a Flickr site. Uh … that’s it. Does Friday anticipate the weekend and not feel like doing any real work? Aha! At the bottom of the site it says, “Friday.com also hosts Bbum‘s blog-o-mat.” Ahh. There’s the disclaimer.
saturday.com
At press time I couldn’t connect to saturday.com. C’mon! The other days of the week miss you. Get your site up!
sunday.com
I almost expected the NFL to have this domain but it’s actually owned by a Chinese communications firm called PCCW Mobile. Why they chose Sunday? I still can’t exactly tell.
monday.com
Haven’t we all had a case of The Mondays? Well I haven’t yet, but Monday.com is hoping that you do! It looks like it’s the only other day on this
list with some actual content. It appears to be something like Linkedin except that it connects you to the people inside your company as opposed to clients, vendors and former colleagues. I’ve never worked for a company so large that I’d prefer to use a Web 2.0 app instead of email, instant messaging or “sneakernet” to communicate with them.
Well, I guess it’s official. Tuesday really is the best day of the week! Yay!
