I’d Rather Be Called a Nerd

Most people interchange the words ‘nerd’ and ‘geek’ as often as they interchange words like ‘dinner’ and ‘supper’ or ‘i.e.’ and ‘e.g.’— each of which are very different and really not interchangeable at all.So to end the dispute, I consulted the handy-dandy bible of slang: urbandictionary.com. (I want to personally thank the person who invented this site because I can use it in situations like this, heh.)
This is what it says when I looked up the word geek:
Not to be confused with Nerd. A Geek does not have to be smart, a Geek is someone who is generally not athletic, and enjoys Video Games; Comic Books; being on the Internet, and etc.
Ah, that describes almost everyone at work. Now let’s see what it says when I click on the word nerd:
Often mistaken for Geeks, who aspire to become nerds, yet lack the intelligence, and end up giving nerds a bad name due to their poor social skills.
Ok so that narrows it down: everyone at work is a geek, but only a few are really nerds…haha jk.
See which one you think you are:
